Accessibility Statement
Effective and last updated: 30 September 2026
We want every trader to be able to use TheProfitPath, including people who rely on a screen reader, keyboard, magnification, voice control or reduced motion. This statement describes the standard we work to, where we fall short today and how to tell us about a barrier. It is published under the European Accessibility Act, the UK Equality Act 2010, the Americans with Disabilities Act and comparable laws.
1. Standard and status#
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA (equivalent to EN 301 549) for the public website, the documentation and the signed-in application. We assess the Service as partially conformant: most of the Service meets the standard, and the exceptions below are known and being worked on.
2. What we do#
- Semantic HTML, labelled form controls, visible focus states and keyboard operation for every control, including custom selects, date pickers and dialogs built on accessible primitives.
- Colour is never the only carrier of meaning: profit and loss are also shown with sign, text and shape, and the theme system keeps contrast at or above 4.5:1 for body text.
- Animations respect the operating system's reduced-motion setting.
- Text can be resized to 200% and the layout works down to a 320 pixel wide viewport without horizontal scrolling.
- Live voice mode and typed chat offer the same features, so you can speak or type.
- Images you upload can carry alternative text; AI-generated reports are plain text, not images of text.
3. Known limitations#
- Trading charts, including embedded TradingView charts and our own candle charts, are visual by nature. Key values are available in tables and text nearby, but the chart drawings themselves are not described.
- Some dense analytics tables are difficult to navigate with a screen reader on small screens.
- Embedded third-party content (charts, GIFs, the Stripe checkout) follows the accessibility of those providers.
- Older community posts may contain images without alternative text supplied by their authors.
4. Tell us about a barrier#
If something on the Service is hard or impossible for you to use, email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject or use contact support. Tell us the page, what you tried and the assistive technology you use. We reply within five business days, provide the information or function in an accessible form where we can, and treat accessibility bugs as priority defects. You may also contact the enforcement body in your country, for example the market-surveillance authority responsible for the European Accessibility Act, or the Equality and Human Rights Commission in the UK.
5. Preparation of this statement#
This statement is based on self-assessment with automated tooling and manual testing with keyboard navigation, VoiceOver and NVDA. It is reviewed at least once a year and whenever a major feature ships.
